You can register your team in one of the following calibers:
Professional: If you have players who have played in a professional or semi-professional hockey league.
Advanced: If you have players who have played elite hockey (AAA-AA). This is a competitive level for players who are physically fit and have a thorough understanding of the game. This level offers a competitive playing experience.
Intermediate: If you have players who have played AAA-A hockey, but are older or not in peak physical condition. This level offers a competitive but, above all, friendly playing experience.
Amateur: If you have players who have played low-level hockey (A-C), or who have never played in an organized league. This level is primarily friendly.
Each team is composed of 6 attackers, 4 defenders and 1 goalkeeper. (11 players)
You can have a backup goalkeeper. You can have backup players, but they cannot be in uniform if all the regular players are present.
If the tournament format is different (ex 3v3) the total number of eligible players will be listed on the tournament page.
To register your team for a tournament, you must complete the form on the tournament page and pay the registration fee and deposit.
Depending on the tournament, there may or may not be a trophy. Check the tournament page for competition details.
Some tournaments are organized by partners, so the offerings vary. We are working on organizing an international tournament with the Powerplay Cup for 2025.
To register for a tournament, we require payment of the administrative fee (processing and verification of your team) and an initial deposit to reserve your place.
If you decide to no longer participate in the tournament, regardless of the time before the competition, the administrative fee IS NOT refundable.
If you cancel once your place has been confirmed by the management, a 15% penalty will be deducted from the deposit amount, and the balance will be refunded to the registered payment method.
Your team may be disqualified from a tournament before, during, or after the competition.
False registration : if you register your team in a lower caliber than your actual level (after verification of the players or following the games), you could see your team disqualified without reimbursement; the management attends all the games and if it is obvious that you lied about your level during registration, they may take the decision to disqualify you or change your level IF this is possible.
If, following your registration and analysis of your team, it is determined that you registered in the wrong level (before the start of the competition), we will cancel your registration and refund your deposit. The administrative fee is NEVER refundable.
If multiple levels are available in the same tournament, we will move you to another level after receiving your approval.
Behavior on ice : if one or more players on your team commit violent, disgraceful or disrespectful acts towards the other team, the referees or the organization (regardless of the number of incidents), management may decide to disqualify your team, without reimbursement.
This decision is at the discretion of management.
If a player is ejected from a match by the referees, he will be AUTOMATICALLY disqualified for all the remaining games in the tournament.
This decision is made by the management. A sent-off player can appeal to the management after the match.
Ejected and disqualified players will not receive any refund.
It is everyone's responsibility to show respect and fairplay during the competition.
If a team arrives late to their game (after the warm-up period), they will start the game with a 2 minutes penalty for delaying the game.
If a team is not ready to start the game when the referee blows his whistle (the team takes too long to pick up the pucks or for the team shout), the referee may impose a 2-minute penalty for delay of game.
If both teams are not ready to start the game when the referee blows his whistle, both teams will start the game 4 vs 4.
